Bring Training to Your Organization
CNM Coach Training is designed to teach people from all backgrounds and skill levels to engage others in empowering dialogue. Each of our trainings include content in Coaching Skills, Financial Literacy, and Cultural Humility and Awareness. Training can be in-person, at our site or yours, or virtually. Our trainers take your staff and partners through an interactive, dynamic process over the course of 40 hours.
OUR COACH TRAINING PROGRAMS:
Financial Coach Training
The CNM Financial Coach Training Program is an experiential, problem-based learning program designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of coaching that can be implemented to assist people seeking to improve their financial situation. This training will allow participants to develop a deeper understanding of the coaching philosophy, methodology, and tools while developing their own financial literacy.
Coach Training
This program teaches learners to coach others through an interactive and engaging 20-hour training. Topics include fundamental coach skills, including powerful questions, active listening and coach practice. The training provides access to coaching tools you can use with clients, families and students.
Coach 2.0
This program is for those looking to gain advanced coaching skills! This 20-hour training will include a brief refresher from our initial coach training, and then tackle advanced coaching skills and includes plenty of opportunities for practice with others. Coach or Financial Coach Training is a prerequisite for this training.

CNM Non-Credit Learner Scholarship
Are you a non-credit learner with CNM Ingenuity, looking to advance your career through our certificate programs?
Non-Credit scholarship funds are on a first-come, first-served basis and there is limited funding. Scholarships funds are limited to cover one program per student. The Non-Credit Scholarship application is for students in non-credit programs only.

Job Training Albuquerque (JTA) is a workforce development program that provides opportunities for the local workforce to gain necessary skills in order to fill skill gaps and meet the workforce needs of existing and potential employers. Coach Training
The CNM Coach Training Program takes the strengths of the Financial Coach Training and applies them directly to the secondary and postsecondary settings. This transformational training will take participants through a series of exercises designed to prepare them to use our Coach Approach in their everyday work with students. Coaches will develop their knowledge of coaching philosophy and methodology and learn to use a toolkit of resources to help students set and achieve goals.

CNMI’s nationally renowned training team brings a wealth of coaching experience in student services, non-profit organizations serving low-income populations, and private industry.
Karen Ann Boise
Karen Ann Boise is a certified coach and coach trainer, accredited through the International Coaching Federation, Center for Credentialing and Education, and American Confidence Institute. Karen’s areas of expertise span multiple disciplines, including Possibilities Coach, Confidence/Wellbeing Coach, Financial Coach, and College/career coaching. Karen has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico. Karen is the owner of Compelling Exploration and co-owner of Hello Health and Wellbeing. Karen enjoys spending time with family and close friends and when time allows, she spends time writing, painting, reading, skiing, golfing, growing wildflowers, watching hummingbirds and traveling. Most importantly, she strives to enjoy each day of her life.
Diane Harrison Ogawa
Diane Harrison Ogawa is the Chief Community Partnerships & Systems Officer at Central New Mexico Community College. She is also a certified professional coach who helps people live with passion, gratitude, and purpose. Diane previously served as a community relations executive with specialties in corporate philanthropy, volunteerism, foundation management and employee engagement. She practiced corporate law in Wisconsin, New York, and New Mexico. She serves on numerous community boards including Albuquerque Academy, La Tierra Sagrada Society, and the Jennifer Riordan Foundation.
Ann Lyn Hall
Dr. Ann Lyn Hall is the Chief Executive Officer of Prosperity Works, a statewide advocacy program to build capacity in organizations and advocates for policies that generate economic prosperity for all New Mexicans. Ann Lyn is responsible for the strategic leadership of Prosperity Works programs and initiatives. She supports our statewide advocacy network to build capacity in organizations and advocates for policies that generate economic prosperity. She developed a holistic, student support model at a local community college to support first generation students and student parents to achieve their academic and career goals. She is a national leader in financial coaching, asset building, and helping adults improve access for educational, employment, and financial outcomes. She has educated professionals regarding financial coaching, using data for program improvement, the impact of poverty on education, college student resiliency factors, and asset development.
Maria Rodriguez
Maria Rodriguez has been providing financial education for over 30 years. She initially began in mortgage lending and in time became passionate about applied personal finance as a personal finance educator and coach. In 2016, she joined Opportunity Alliance Nevada through their Financial Coach Institute training program, ultimately becoming their state-wide financial trainer. In recent years, Maria has partnered with CNM Ingenuity to train future financial coaches throughout the nation. Maria has a heart of a teacher and regularly assists individuals in establishing strong personal finance foundations through realistic budgeting; identifying and setting up savings goals; debt reduction/elimination; and coaching through personal financial concerns.
Debra Waldman
Debra Waldman is trained and certified as an Organization and Relationship System Coach through the Coaches Training Institute and holds accreditation through International Coaching Federation, the global governing organization for coaches. Debra facilitates multi-dimensional workshops that are both innovative and easily integrated into personal and professional arenas. All workshops function from a 'wisdom lives within' model and participants gain skill sets that can be utilized immediately. Debra is also a part-time instructor for Central New Mexico Community College’s Ingenuity Program. Some of the topics that Debra has presented are War Fatigue, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Fighting the Stigma of Mental Illness, Effective Communication, Dealing with Burnout, Suicide Prevention as well as many leadership and wellness specific topics. Debra‘s pro-bono work includes facilitating groups of veterans work through everything from war combat stress to re-entry skills and relationship changes.
